Starting from a company of home industry located on a land as large as 200 square meters, the producers of sound system in Indonesia especially in Surabaya may welcome the existence of a new producer that participates in the world of sound system and music by the name of Elkana in 1960.
By then the producers of sound system and music haven' t enjoyed vast progress as nowadays.Gradual steps taken to improve this company have thought valuable lesson.In 1973 Elkana has enlarged its area into 600 square meters in Lawang, a cool town with the distance of 75 km from Surabaya.The area consist of 2 part: area of electronic product ( 200 square meters) and the wood area ( 400 square meter) .In addition, since its existence, this company has used vacuum tubes ( valve) as components in its product.
Along with our manufacturing experience, in 1980 our company has achieved new product called Rhoad and it was produced at Jalan Pandero Gang Dwi Karya 27, Lawang.With tha increases of many consumer' s demand in 1981, the production process was moved to Jalan Argotunggal 15, Lawang.
In 1986 Rhoad started to spread its wings by manufacturing in Surabaya at Jalan Kupang Baru I/ 80.Four years later ( 1990) this company moved to Jalan Raya Kupang Jaya 14, Surabaya.
So Far Rhoad has supported various need of sound system ranging from the religious as well as the secular sphere.With the numerous activities entrusting their need of sound system an music to Rhoad, this company has invented new product to meet the need of sound system for the middle and high class level by the name of Lexus in the year 2000.For the sake of the new product, this company has prepared six places for the electronic production in Lawang.The cabinet production is done on Jalan Kenjeran, Surabaya, while the quality control process is carried out at Jalan Raya Kupang Jaya 14, Surabaya.
